Job Description

Retail Merchandising Services, Inc. (RMS), a national merchandising company servicing various retailers, has an immediate opening for a part-time Field Coordinator.

 

This position is based out of the home for 15 hours per week on average and will also service a retail store for 5+ hours per week on average.

 

Duties:

  • Review submitted project photos to ensure reps have followed step by step instructions and submitted the correct photos
  • Contact any rep who has not met the photo requirements, or whose work does not meet RMS standards with the goal to coach, correct and improve performance
  • Communicate with reps in assigned districts on a regular basis over the phone and via email
  • Follow up with reps as directed
  • Contact store partners in an effort to resolve issues and report findings to the RMS Home Office
  • Mentor reps as directed by HR
  • Maintain frequent contact with RMS Home Office Team over the phone and via email
  • Complete in store testing of new procedures as scheduled
  • Complete a minimum of one virtual or in-store tour per week
  • Train new reps in-store or virtually
  • Identify qualified candidates for a Certified Trainer role
  • Attend weekly status calls with Field Operations Manager
  • Complete merchandising projects within a retail store, which may include auditing, data collection, cleaning and organizing merchandise, stocking, etc.

  • Ability to provide feedback and troubleshoot
  • Willing to train
  • Comfortable working independently; experience working remotely a plus
  • Technologically savvy

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and successfully pass a motor vehicle screening
  • Availability to work part-time Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-3pm PST
  • Internet access with downloading and printing capabilities; must have a stable internet connection
  • Desktop PC or laptop with a minimum 20” screen to review photos in detail
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Power Point, GoToMeeting or other conference site
  • Email address
  • Regular access to a phone with voicemail capability
  • Regular access to a smart devise with an iOS or Android operating system that includes a data plan and ability to download an app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
  • Dedicated space to work from home undisturbed
  • Must be able to commit to a six-week virtual training program between the hours of 8am-2pm PST; this typically includes 3 training sessions, lasting 3 hours per session (9 hours each week)
